Search warrant reveals large amounts of narcotics in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A handful of subdivisions at the Hartford Police Department worked together to seize large amounts of narcotics that were being sold in the Frog Hollow Neighborhood of the city.

Investigators say that Friday at 86-88 Hungerford St., the Community Crime Suppression Team, Vice and Narcotics Unit, and Community Service Bureau coordinated a search and seizure warrant after citizens in the area complained of “open-air drug sales.”

In the search, 1,710 sleeves of fentanyl, 81 grams of crack cocaine, and 5.6 grams of powder cocaine were discovered. A semi-automatic firearm was also located…
