Bank teller, brother staged West Roxbury credit union robbery, according to DA

The brothers were charged with larceny over $1,200 and conspiracy.

Two brothers were arraigned at Boston Municipal Court in West Roxbury Wednesday for allegedly stealing about $197,146 on Tuesday from the Energy Credit Union, officials say.

At 12:55 p.m., authorities responded to the Energy Credit Union at 156 Spring St. for a robbery in progress, according to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

The bank teller, who was one of the two brothers, told investigators that he was working at the teller station when an unknown man, later identified as his brother, “approached his window and wrote a note stating ‘hand it over,’” the statement said…
