Porter Public Schools community mourns death of seventh grader

PORTER, Okla. — Porter Public Schools said the Pirate community is mourning the death of a seventh-grade student.

The school district released a statement from Superintendent Chris Sherwood on Thursday. He said “our hearts are heavy today” as they mourn the loss of Isaiah Marshall, a seventh grader at Porter Consolidated Schools.

“Isaiah was a treasured member of our school family, and we extend our sincere sympathy and support to his loved ones and friends during this difficult time,” Sherwood said…
