MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A much needed refuge for Milwaukee’s homeless population, especially with temperatures expected to plunge overnight.
St. Ben’s Community Meal, on 10th and State, typically offer a nightly meal to those who need it. But tonight, the tables and chairs will be moved for cots, so anyone who needs to get out of the cold can get a warm night’s sleep.
The friars who work there told CBS 58 that they have spots for 60 people, and they expect them to be filled…
