Welcome to Fall 2024, it officially arrived at 6:43 a.m. in Colorado. Today’s weather will certainly feel like autumn as a storm slowly moves away. We’ll keep some showers in the forecast until about noon before some drier air starts to work into the region.

Highs by this afternoon will be anywhere from 15 to 20 degrees below normal in Denver. The average high on Sept. 22 in the Mile High City is 77 degrees. We’ll be lucky to hit 60 degrees today. The week ahead looks like it will be on the quiet side with plenty of sunshine and very mild temperatures statewide. A weak weather system will pass by the state late Monday and early Tuesday. It could kick off a few scattered showers but that would mostly be confined to the mountains…
