SEPT 22 TRADE? Are the Cleveland Browns trading for Devin Singletary, who they happen to be playing against today with the New York Giants coming to town?
That’s what ESPN is suggesting in an “insider” report that, as it turns out, is simply guesswork on the part of the reporter … guesswork that even suggests that such a move might be needed because of an injury absence of Nick Chubb that might last longer than anyone in Cleveland is letting on.

But the “report” – while making this specific connection with Singletary – also simply loads up on headline-grabbing names like “Amari Cooper” and “Dallas Cowboys” and smushing them together in a manner that creates the loose impression to the reader that there are really connections and real sources involved here.
In the end, this appears to be one guy’s guess about all the cool trades that could happen near the NFL’s November 5 trade deadline. … and nothing more than that…
