‘Aggieland’s R&B and Throwbacks’ Appear On ‘Magic 97.3.’

Bryan Broadcasting launched adult R&B “Magic 97.3” on KAGC Bryan-College Station, TX (1510), and its corresponding FM translator, the Bryan-licensed K247CS at 97.3.

The new station, which was broadcasting a southern gospel format, debuted at noon on Thursday, Jan. 2, with Tevin Campbell’s “Can We Talk” followed by Ginuwine’s “Differences.” Core artists on “Aggieland’s R&B and Throwbacks” will include Mary J. Blige, Usher, Luther Vandross, Aaliyah, October London, Tony! Toni! Tone!, and many more.

“We are thrilled to bring Magic 97.3 to the Bryan-College Station area!” Operations Manager Rob Mack said in a release. “This will be a fantastic new radio choice for listeners, featuring several decades of timeless songs and the best of today’s R&B. As with all of our local radio stations, as we build Magic 97.3, we will be involved with our community as well, not just playing great music, but spotlighting things that are important to people who live here.
