BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – With a lot of this past month still feeling like summer, it may not come as a shock that the tropics are still active and worth watching even as we move into November.
For Gulf of Mexico states, the only one really of any concern is a tropical wave tucked away down in the Southern Caribbean that will slowly move northward over the next several days.
The National Hurricane Center has all but assured this system will at least gain tropical depression status, potentially before the end of this weekend. From there, we will better get a handle of the strength and path of this system, but as of early this weekend, this system looks to present little worry for the Brazos Valley…
