BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash Thursday night on the west side of Brazos County.
KBTX reported the fatal crash around 8:45 Thursday night, and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed results from the preliminary crash report on Friday morning.
According to that report, a 2012 Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on FM 60 near Vincent Road just after 8:20 p.m. when the driver made a U-turn. A motorcyclist, also heading west, hit the Corolla, throwing the rider from the motorcycle. Then, the motorcyclist was hit by a pickup truck going east.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a Brazos County Justice of the Peace. Texas DPS identified him as James Jolly, 69, of Somerville. The other drivers were uninjured…
