Goodyear police arrested a school resource officer after an alleged domestic violence situation involving his 15-year-old son.
Verrado High School resource officer David Ellison — the suspect — is being charged with assault with the intent to injure and disorderly conduct.
Just after 11 p.m. Oct. 28, Goodyear officers received a 911 call with a male crying, saying he needed help before giving his address and hanging up. The reporting party was contacted again and told the 911 operator that “his dad hit him in the face, and he (was) bleeding from the nose and mouth.”…
