Buffalo’s Mohawk Place Announces Closure at the End of January

After more than 30 years of lively music, Buffalo’s beloved Mohawk Place will close at the end of the month, with two final shows on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31.

Mohawk Place first opened its doors in the early 1990s by then owner Pete Perrone, who was loved by all. Starting as a blues and majorly rock venue, the venue has now encompassed many genres and visitors all around the world. Mohawk Place stands as a reminder of Buffalo’s pre-Internet age era, creating a space for visitors to reminisce on the past.

Throughout the years, Mohawk Place has become a staple venue in Buffalo for all music-lovers nationwide. Many visitors recall their fondest memories of listening to their favorite bands, such as Four Year Strong, Fallout Boy, Cursive, Centro-Matic, Sam Roberts Band and many more.
