HAMBURG, N.Y. — Albert the alligator has been living at a sanctuary in Beaumont, Texas, after the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation seized him from a home in Hamburg back in March.
Since then, his former owner has been fighting to get him back. Several Western New Yorkers appeared in New York State Supreme Court on Thursday to show their support for Tony Cavallaro and his pet alligator.
