BUFFALO, N.Y. — An ongoing study from the University at Buffalo is exploring the challenges that children with special health care needs face when going to the ER.

Children with chronic conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, or down syndrome are at greater risk for complications following physical trauma.
