Cherokee Ledger Moving to New Publication Schedule and Format

The Cherokee Ledger-News will transition from a weekly publication to a monthly format, becoming the Cherokee Ledger Monthly, starting in November 2024.

The new publication will feature at least 32 full-color, 10×13 inch tabloid-sized pages, professionally stitched and trimmed. Distribution of 22,000 copies will be by mail and available at single-copy locations. The Ledger Monthly will remain free to the reader.

“The new Cherokee Ledger will have a magazine feel to it, due to the reformatted size and content,” Publisher Lee Garrett said. “The new format and schedule tandems well with our sister newspaper in Cherokee County — The Tribune — which publishes three times a week,” Garrett said…
