5 Mohave wrestlers win at Jim Wayman Memorial Invitational

KINGMAN Mohave High School had five wrestlers take first place at the Jim Wayman Memorial Invitational this last weekend.

Reigning state champion Chrystian Owens won all of his matches and took first along with Julio Gonzales and Isac Urias for the boys in their weight class. Shaun Breen finished in second place, Arthur Cruz came in third, and Gerardo Osuna and Luis Higuera placed fifth. As a team, the Thunderbirds came in fifth, 12 points shy of a tie for third with Buckeye and Lake Havasu High School…
