Pine Lawn boards up 20 vacant homes after controversy

PINE LAWN, Mo. – Despite a recent fight over it, a plan to board up 20 vacant homes went ahead as scheduled Saturday in Pine Lawn.

Carpenters from Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council volunteered part of their Saturday to make it happen. City officials say many of these vacant properties pose a danger to the public.
