The NFL fined Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey $11,255 for unsportsmanlike conduct (taunting) in last Saturday’s 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Humphrey held the ball towards Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III on his pick-six. He was not penalized on the play.

After the game, Humphrey claimed that he wanted to pitch his pick-six to teammate David Ojabo and wasn’t taunting the Steelers. The NFL, obviously, thought otherwise
“I want to make this, like, pretty clear,” Humphrey told reporters. “When I was running with the football I saw [linebacker] David Ojabo, a really great teammate of mine, and I was trying to pitch him the football. So some people brought up to me that it looked like taunting, or something. But I was trying to pitch him the football and there was no taunting there at all. I just want to make that very clear.”…
