State and local officials, including Gov. Josh Shapiro, recently gathered in Pittsburgh to tout a 10-year plan to bring nearly $600 million in investments to revitalize the city’s downtown area.

“What is happening here is unprecedented,” Shapiro said at a press conference in Pittsburgh on Oct. 25. “Not just the dollars that are being invested but the way everyone has come together, and everyone believes in this mission.”…
