Red Cross of Wisconsin helps in hurricane recovery efforts

WISCONSIN (WEAU) – Workers from across the nation are continuing to help with recovery after the destruction left by both hurricanes Helene and Milton, and that includes members of the American Red Cross of Wisconsin, who are helping in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

In total, the Red Cross says it has 58 people helping from Wisconsin across the Southeast.

On top of cleanup, those workers are helping in shelters that offer free food, showers, laundry and Wi-Fi to those that don’t have access…
