Warren “Red” Upton, the last living survivor of the USS Utah, died on Christmas Day in California after a brief stay at the hospital.
Pacific Historic Parks announced on Thursday that Upton was surrounded by family when he passed. He served as a radioman on the USS Utah when Pearl Harbor was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941.
