STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Sycamore Youth Center in Steubenville announced a program that’s coming up in early December that is designed to give coats and boots to kids in need.
The drive will be taking place Dec. 5 and community organizers are excited to see multiple organizations coming together to make it possible.
“We want to make sure that every child that’s in need in Jefferson County will have a pair of boots and a coat this winter and we’re really looking forward to partnering with a number of different organizations are going to be a part of that,” Sycamore Youth Center Executive Director Bobbyjon Bauman said. “We have The Salvation Army, we have AIM Women’s Center, Family Children First Council, all coming together with Sycamore to have an event where we’re going to give away free coats and boots to children here in Steubenville.”…
