In the fall of 1977 in the quiet, suburban neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, families and young adults fall victim to gruesome slayings at random in the dead of the night. One of the first victims, a young Frank Zeigler, is found shot dead in the cab of his truck. Less than a month later, Joseph and Catherine Weinman, a couple with two young children, are found murdered in their home. The randomness and brutality of these attacks leave neighbors on edge. With a serial killer on the loose, police know they need to act fast, setting out on an exhaustive manhunt to restore the sense of safety these neighborhoods once knew…
