Eboni S. Lundy of Acworth is accused of physically resisting two deputy sheriffs in their efforts to escort her back to a cell and causing serious bodily harm to one on Oct. 18 at 11:15 a.m. at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, 1825 County Services Parkway in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
Lundy attempted to gouge out the deputy sheriff’s right eye by clawing and grabbing the eyelid while medical was on the floor conducting Pill Call. The deputy sheriff suffered several cuts around the eye, minor swelling, bruising and a corneal abrasion. The deputy was transported to Cobb Hospital for treatment. Lundy is also accused of causing minor scratches to the right side of another deputy’s face and chin during the altercation, according to the warrant.
