19-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash on I-75 in Oakland County

MADISON HEIGHTS (WWJ) — A young man is dead and another is injured after they were thrown from their motorcycles in a crash on I-75 Thursday night.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 along northbound I-75 near 14 Mile Road in Madison Heights, according to Michigan State Police.

The motorcycles were “speeding and weaving in and out of traffic lanes,” when they hit the rear passenger side of a Chevy Silverado in the left center lane, according to MSP.

Both men — a 19-year-old from Saginaw and a 20-year-old from Swartz Creek — were ejected from their bikes and landed on the right shoulder…
