Lions dig into bag of tricks en route to beating Cardinals

Jared Goff passed for 199 yards and two touchdowns and the Detroit Lions topped the Arizona Cardinals 20-13 on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. Goff, who threw one interception, completed 18 of 23 passes. David Montgomery rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries for the Lions (2-1). Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 83 yards and scored a 21-yard touchdown on a hook-and-ladder play. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Kyler Murray passed for 207 yards and a touchdown with an interception for Arizona (1-2). Marvin Harrison Jr. caught five passes for 64 yards and a score. Goff completed all 12 of his first-half passes as the Lions grabbed a 20-10 halftime advantage.
