CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — A man is in critical condition after a shooting Saturday night at a gas station in Canton . The alleged shooter is also in custody and facing charges.
Fire destroys barn in Valley City
According to Canton police, officers were called to the Circle K at 3240 Mahoning Rd NE just after 11:30 p.m.
At the scene, police found Devone A. Spencer, 37, suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm, neck and face. Officers started first aid on Spencer until medics arrived and took him to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The suspect, Markalow Richardson, 29, was arrested during a traffic stop Sunday morning in the 2100 block of Navarre Rd.
