CANTON ‒ The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority board voted Wednesday to approve a new scaled-down paratransit service for riders with disabilities called ProLine Plus .
Starting Feb. 10, such riders will lose some service where the starting point and destination are in Stark County but beyond 0.75 miles of a fixed route other than the express routes to Akron and Cleveland. And ride-by-appointment service will no longer be available on Saturdays.
Trips to or from beyond three quarters of a mile from fixed routes can’t begin until 7 a.m. in contrast with 5:30 a.m. in the past. And trips must be completed by 7 p.m. instead of 9:40 p.m…
