19-Year-Old Arrested for Meth Possession at Cumberland County McDonald’s

A 19-year-old man was arrested on charges of drug possession with intent to deliver following a police response to a reported assault at a local McDonald’s. The incident occurred at approximately 4:09 p.m. on December 4, at the 1100 block of Carlisle Road, according to the Lower Allen Township Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the scene to address an assault involving two women and two men. Upon arrival, they noticed a male, later identified as Cameron Lerew, walking away from the scene. Lerew, known to the police and wanted on an active felony warrant for intent to deliver drugs by the Fairview Township Police Department, attempted to flee on foot but was swiftly apprehended by the responding officers.

During the arrest, police discovered multiple bags of suspected methamphetamine, packaged for sale, and additional drug paraphernalia on Lerew. He faces charges including possession with intent to deliver, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia…
