HARRISBURG, Pa (WHP) — A man who helped rob a Harrisburg jewelry store of an estimated$1 million in gold was sentenced to federal prison on Tuesday.
Timothy Conrad, 34, of Washington D.C, was sentenced to 168 months in prison for his role in a 16-member crew that committed armed robberies across ofSouth Asian jewelry stores in multiple states, stealing millions of dollars in cash and gold from the stores, according to theU.S. Attorney’s Office. The 16-member group is allegedly led by Trevor Wright, a rapper known as “Taliban Glizzy.”
Conrad pleaded guilty on May 30 to charges related to the scheme, admitting his involvement in four robberies that happened in New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania — including a Nov. 10, 2022, robbery of Baral Jewelers and Gift Center in Harrisburg…
