On a beautiful recent Saturday morning, the Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club members, friends, two grandkids, and even a furry companion came together for a meaningful cause—the Walk4ALZ fundraiser. This year marked the club’s second time participating in the event, and they proudly surpassed their previous efforts, raising over $4,000 for Alzheimer’s San Diego, according to a news release.
The group walked through North County in solidarity with the 100,000 San Diegans affected by dementia and their care partners. After the walk, they gathered at Union Kitchen to celebrate their success and the power of community support.
Funds raised will directly benefit local programs and services that provide critical assistance to those living with Alzheimer’s in San Diego County.
