Earlier today, the New Mexico Department of Justice’s first-ever K9, Special Agent Joey, retired following six years of dedicated service. Special Agent Joey served on the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division as an Electronic Scent Detection (ESD) K9 under the ownership and handling of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Special Agent in Charge, Owen Pena.
