INDIANAPOLIS — Firefighters pulled a man from an Indianapolis retention pond Monday evening and transported him to a hospital.
It happened around 6 p.m. in the 3600 block of Wingate Court, which is near East 38th Street and German Church Road.
Witnesses told investigators the 36-year-old man and another person were fishing at the pond when the man entered the water to swim and did not resurface. When he did not come back up, bystanders called 911…
