Milwaukee man charged in CTA bus gunfight that killed his cousin, wounded bus driver

CHICAGO — A Milwaukee man is facing charges in connection with an attack on a Chicago Transit Authority bus earlier this week that wounded the driver and left his cousin dead.

Police said Jeremy Howard, 20, was visiting with his cousins when one of the cousins attacked a passenger and punched him in the head on a bus on the 3400 block of South State Street early Monday morning.

The passenger pulled out a gun and shot the cousin to death. Howard then allegedly began firing at the gunman but wounded the bus driver…
