Hailey van Lith was reduced to tears after her extraordinary display against the NC State Wolfpack.
The TCU Horned Frogs’ point guard enjoyed one of the finest performances of her college career by recording a career-first double-double, by contributing 18 points and assisting 10. Van Lith, 23, was roared to the rafters at the Schollmaier Arena after the Horned Frogs’ shock 76-73 victory.
Their triumph ensured her side entered the Associated Press’ top 25 women’s basketball poll for the first time in 16 years. After the match, her emotions got the better of her, as was seen in footage from her side’s dressing room.
