RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A $3 million contract awarded to the N.C. Department of Transportation will result in improving 19 miles of roadway in southern Wake County.
The improvements will consist of milling, resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction, and will cover 84 sections of secondary roads.
The project will enhance road surfaces, reduce maintenance needs, and improve roadside safety. Temporary lane closures and minor delays are expected, and drivers are encouraged to stay alert in work zones…
