Fire department prepares to help those struggling in cold weather this weekend

DENVER (KDVR) — Emergency response crews are preparing to help those in need during the projected cold spell that will hit Denver this weekend.

Mayor Mike Johnston’s All In Mile High Initiative has provided more than 2,000 people in need with housing reducing unsheltered homelessness by 83%. Some still have refused shelter. Shelters and warming stations are available to help them.
