FRIDAY NIGHT: Plan on a chilly night with lows in the 30s and 40s. Heavy rain becomes an increasing concern tonight as another batch of moisture works its way north. At the same time, the snow line drops to around 8,500 ft, bringing the chance for accumulating snow in Teller county. Wet snowflakes could also be possible for Monument Hill and even Northgate, but many will see rain. An inch or two could accumulate in Woodland Park, with 6-12″ expected for peaks over 10,000 ft into the weekend. Elsewhere, heavy rain could lead to flooding or ponding out on the roads.

WEEKEND: Any snow transitions back to rain later Saturday morning. We gradually dry out as our storm system exits the region, with some sunshine and scattered showers on Sunday. Temperatures will be much cooler though, only in the 40s and 50 for most this weekend…
