Suspect Wanted For Stabbing Victim at ATM on Monday

On December 23 at approximately 6:40 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1100 block of University Blvd (Capital One Bank parking lot) for an assault that had just occurred involving a knife.

According to Takoma Park police, “Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound to his hand. The victim stated that at approximately 6:25 pm, while engaging in a friendly conversation near the bank’s ATM, he was attacked by an unknown male suspect.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male with a clean shave wearing a black hoodie, approached the victim from behind and inflicted a deep wound with a knife. The victim confirmed not knowing the suspect. A search of the area was conducted, but officers could not locate the suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries…
