AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man accused of attacking a worker at random in Republic Square Park last month.
According to APD, 911 received a call on Saturday, Nov. 16, around 5:25 p.m. about a suspect with a knife threatening a man working in the park at 422 Guadalupe St.
Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the victim, who had a cut along the left side of his face. The victim told police he was using a leaf blower as part of his job when he was attacked by a random person who then left the area…
