When Logan Jones walked out of the practice locker room at the high school where the Iowa football team was practice on Thursday afternoon, his right hand immediately jumped out to reporters who were standing nearby.
Jones was sporting a cast on his right hand and was not in pads like the rest of his teammates, which signaled that in all likelihood, he will be sidelined for the 2024 Music City Bowl game against Missouri on December 30.
While he did work on a few snaps with his left hand, the work being done with the quarterbacks and in the practice setting was with senior Tyler Elsbury at the center position. Iowa has not released an official statement regarding Jones and his status for the bowl game, but it appears very unlikely that he will be playing in the bowl game…
