Gas prices plummet across Pennsylvania: Harrisburg, Lancaster, York see savings

If you think your wallet is hurting a bit less after you hit the gas station, you’re not miscalculating. Gas prices in central Pennsylvania are on the decline.

Data from 241 gas stations in Harrisburg and surrounding municipalities showed a 9.4 cent per gallon decrease from Sept. 9 to Sept. 16, when an average price of $3.27 per gallon was listed in the area, according to GasBuddy, a website that tracks gas prices across the country.

The $3.27 average recorded in Harrisburg on Sept. 16 reflects a 25.4 cent per gallon decrease from a month ago and is 60.6 cents per gallon less than a year ago, GasBuddy said…
