21 September 2024- Weis Markets is buying Sunnyway Foods. Weis said it expects the deal to close during the fourth quarter. The Sunnyway Foods locations in Greencastle and Chambersburg, will close briefly while they are converted to Weis Markets. Current Sunnyway employees will be considered for employment with Weis.
