Western Maryland voters hoping to see US Senate race candidates

HAGERSTOWN, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The race for the vacant U.S. Senate seat in Maryland moving fast and voters hope to see the nominees in the western region of the state as the home stretch to election day approaches.

Both candidates have been campaigning furiously, flooding the airwaves in a race that could decide control of the U.S. Senate.

Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, the Democratic Party nominee, told supporters in Greenbelt earlier this week that voters are well aware of the stakes in the November general election.
