CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign County Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help identify two suspects involved in a theft and credit card fraud.
On Oct. 6, two suspects stole a wallet from a victim who was shopping at Costco on Neil Street in Champaign.
Decatur Police investigating weekend shooting outside bar
According to Crime Stoppers, within minutes, the suspects used the victim’s credit cards to buy over $3,300 worth of gift cards and electronics from Best Buy.
Police said the suspects appeared to be a Black male and Black female. The man was described as wearing a white hat, a white long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
