CHAMPAIGN — Shauna Green took the crowd mic at State Farm Center on Thursday night moments after her Illinois women’s basketball team delivered a 62-57 upset of No. 23 Iowa.
The third-year Illini coach had a message for the 4,231 fans on hand, most of whom were in the orange and blue colors of Illinois but with pockets evident of the black and gold worn by Iowa supporters.
“We’re going to keep fighting,” Green said. “We’re going to keep fighting. Nothing’s stopping us.”…
