WASHINGTON (7News) — A D.C. city employee was sentenced for his actions in a January 2023 D.C. shooting that killed 13-year-old Karon Blake in Northeast, the Department of Justice announced Friday.
Jason Lewis, 42, of Washington, D.C., was found guilty of three counts of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and one count of voluntary manslaughter while armed committed against a minor, officials said.
