MERCERSBURG, Pa. ( DC News Now ) — No white Christmas in the immediate Washington, D.C. area this year — but that did not keep some from our region from find a way to hit the mountain slopes.
Martin Pichler from Silver Spring, for instance, could not wait to navigate the snow. In under two hours, he made his way to Whitetail Resort in Pennsylvania.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” said Pichler as he unloaded his winter gear from his car. “First day on the slopes this season so, yeah, it’ll be a great day.”
