Governor declares state of emergency as West Virginia braces for major winter storm

Marshall County, WV — West Virginia Governor Jim Justice declared a state of emergency for all 55 counties ahead of the winter storm, and local emergency management agencies are providing tips on how to stay safe.

The governor said in a recent social media post that “safety is a top priority, and all state agencies are pulling the rope to stay ahead of the challenges we may face.”
