James Garfield Berger, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospice Care. Born on April 7, 1957, in Charleston, West Virginia to Alice Berger and the late Eugene Berger, James lived a life filled with love for his family and an unwavering faith that guided him through every challenge.
Growing up in Charleston alongside his siblings-Eugenia of Cross Lanes and brothers David and Steve-James was known for his infectious smile that could light up any room.
