MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A new water system is on the way for those in the city of Milton. This comes after years of area residents having countless water issues — something we’ve reported on a couple times this year alone. Now, city officials are looking to make a change.
“The water comes out of the plant clean, but once it goes through all the galvanized lines and any kind of old lines, if anything shakes it up in there, it’s going to get dirty,” Mayor Shane Evans said. “And that’s when we have all the reports of dirty water. So if you get those clean lines put in there, and that will take away a lot of the problems.”
